So say you have {Platinum Angel} and your opponent hits you to where you now have say -5 health. You play {Lich} would you (since you have negative health) gain 5 health? But then would you not gain health but draw 5 cards instead? O.o
Nope! Acctually according to the laws of math -5 + -5=-10
So there!

{Lich} says you LOSE life equal to your life total. -5 - -5=0 the (-) basically becomes (+) and the second (-5) becomes (5).

I stand corrected. In that case. Sense it says "If you would gain life insted.." after the "Lose life equal to your life total" Its on the stack after you gain the life. Therefore you would indeed draw the five cards aswell! Nice rule bug!
This is what i do when i cant sleep. Stare at my ipod and find contradictions in cards...

A great way to find combos. I'm not sure about this one for two reasons:
1) I'm not sure about losing negative life. I have a feeling you guys are right, but not 100%
2) Oracle wording says "As {Lich} enters play...", so the life change might happen before the {Lich} would see it to give you cards.
No, negative numbers are treated as 0 for calculating as far as I know. As negative power doesn't heal when hitting negative damage.
Dam.. Rule 107.1b...
