Title: Morbid and undying
Post by: Validan on February 12, 2012, 12:43:15 AM
If my {ulvenwald bear} dies and I play {undying evil}, does the morbid mechanic activate and give the bear the bonus after it comes back with the undying mechanic?

If you played it before it died then yes i believe it should. It would go to the graveyard and because it didnt have any +1 counters it would come back. Morbid should kick since a creature did in fact die this turn even though it was itself.

I was right in the middle of looking up cards with morbid to pair with {Undying Evil}. It works, and I think its a solid game plan.  {Undying Evil} is a new fav of mine now. 🌟

It won me a draft today and some really nice cards, so I'm glad I wasn't cheating lol and the fact that {undying evil} is instant made everything run so smoothly
