Title: Confusion in the ranks
Post by: Birdbrain on February 10, 2013, 12:51:04 PM
Who can come up with the most combos for {confusion in the ranks}?

I know it's probably very hard to come up with one, but that's were creativity comes in

{confusion in the ranks} + {aether adept}

Bounce the aether adept as soon as it comes into play to steal opponents creatures and not give them in return. Confusions wording allows for this loop hole

Better yet any creature + {confusion in the ranks} + {cloudshift}

Take 2 for the price of one

If it says enter the battlefield, then use something like a {phyrexian walker} enchanted with {splinter twin} and an {intruder alarm} in play.
This way you nab both their creatures and artifacts, and, if you use this before the end of their turn, then all the critters they get from you vanish...

{Norin the Wary} = total creature lockdown.

Add {Warstorm Surge} and you have a fun time.

Can you use  {Dryad Arbor} in some way to steal lands?

Lol. You sure could. If you could find a way to return it to you hand to keep casting it repeatedly, or flickering it.

I guess the  {Splinter Twin} and  {Intruder Alarm} combo is where it's at..

Just looking at the rules for the original card. It says it triggers for itself, so if they have an enchantment you have to swap.. :/
