Title: Zameck Guildmage
Post by: Raven316 on February 09, 2013, 06:59:09 PM
If I activate {Zameck guildmage} first ability and someone in response kills my creature1) does the ability still take effect. 2) if my creature leaves play during my turn does the activated ability still remain for the rest of my turn?

The activated ability is already on the stack. It's like someone threw a ball, and then got shot. The ball is still spiraling through the air.

Same concept. Only cards that stop activated abilities can stop it

Lmfao its such an unexpected explanation.. I thought it was a football reference like yhe QB threw the ball then got tackled or something... Nope, he got shot of course
