I think you need more low cmc creatures that can hold off you opponent until you can do your combos.
I agree. However, I have no idea what to put in and take out. Ideas?
{laboratory maniac}?
And +1. For inspiration, I'm building a self-mill as well
I thought about the maniac, and I may add some. I got dangerously close to decking out a few times in testing.
That maniac could help as a buffer if you overdue it
Yeah it could. I may replace {chronic flooding} with that. There were times when I didnt want to mill, but I didnt have the mana to get around it without tapping the land enchanted with the flooding. It also needs a few {treasured find}s to get back my spirals and guildmages.
Personally, I'm doing self mill with the zombies that self mill, but I'm not sure that's working. Also want to do stuff that mills them and me at the same time to make {psychic spiral} even more potent. You can use the idea too
Edit: I think mine isn't working too well, because I have too much stuff that casts itself from the graveyard and not enough self mill
Splashing green for {mulch}, {grisly salvage}, and {tracker's instinct} is very helpful. Mulch helps you not get mana screwed. Salvage lets you grab a creature you may need (extra helpful in mine since it works off of the guildmage) and the same with Tracker, plus it has flashback. Also {treasured find} is good for grabbing anything you may unwillingly chuck into the GY.
I updated the deck list. This works a little bit better but it still has its kinks.
Looks great :)
Thank ya!
