I second the motion. What about modifying the binder text color to make it a little easier to read? Purely aesthetic, I know.

I agree that choosing a custom color for a binder would be nice, but if you stick with the 5 current colors it would be best to choose contrasting colors for the text on the books.
Also, as choosing a color is not very pixel hungry, an idea could be to implement some sort of radio button or drop down list to make the choice instead of entering a whole new view.
