Everlasting Vorapede 75 cards, 15 sideboard 4 {Breeding Pool} 2 {Alchemist's Refuge} 9 {Forest} 4 {Island} 4 {Hinterland Harbor} 23 lands 4 {Zameck Guildmage} 4 {Strangleroot Geist} 4 {Cloudfin Raptor} 4 {Gyre Sage} 4 {Vorapede} 4 {Wolfir Avenger} 26 creatures 3 {Rancor} 2 {Ooze Flux} 4 {Cyclonic Rift} 4 {Rapid Hybridization} 11 other spells Sideboard 2 {Ground Seal} 3 {Simic Charm} 2 {Mystic Genesis} 2 {Sundering Growth} 3 {Spell Rupture} 3 {Pithing Needle} 15 sideboard cards Notes: Simic has, in my opinion, some of the best synergy in this whole deal so far. This is all due to my new friend: {Zameck Guildmage}. {Zameck Guildmage} allows me to reset my undying creatures for 2 mana but not only that, he also allows me to gain card advantage at the same time! All of these creatures dying and being reset allows for constant Evolve triggers on creatures like {Cloudfin Rapto}r and Gyre Sage . {Thragtusk} as a 2x is just for some lifegain and additional value so I can stay in v.s. a determined aggro deck. {Vorapede} is my main beatstick. He is out of range of a normal {Pillar of Flame} and with Trample, Vigilance, and Undying he is beastly. He can also be reset via the {Zameck Guildmage} in response to bad blocks or burn like {Mizzium Mortars}. {Rapid Hybridization} can be used to generate INSANE amounts of value here. Destroying my own {Strangleroot Geist} for U with {Cloudfin Raptor} will net me +2/+2 on the raptor a 3/2 with haste and a 3/3 token. I have improved my board state by +6/+6 for U and I can always eat the counter on the {Strangleroot Geist} to break even on the card advantage front. Thoughts? |

{Young Wolf}? Seems like a really solid one drop, and just fits the theme

I would cut the avenger. T2 young wolf to evolve raptor and then hybradization on wolf to evolve raptor again and have a 2/2 and 3/3 would be brutal.

{Ooze Flux} for more counter removal.

How's that look?
