Bump
Yeah {Lord of the Void} could work well
I believe lord of the void will be pretty beastly for frites decks.
I agree
I'll do some configuring around with the mana then, might change the creature base up a bit.
Bumping it
Updated it a tad, found room for obzedat and a sigarda.

{Borborygmos Enraged}
Is an absolute BEAST in reanimator. Especially using mulch to deck thin. Play him then dump 2-3 lands from your hand for an extra 3 per damage
It's not bad, but this isn't a reanimator deck, it's a midrange deck. I actually win most of my games with lingering souls or Thragtusk.
The only problem with him is I have no red mana source, so say I have him in my opening hand and I can't draw my lilianas. Well that's just a dead card all game.

You discard him If possible. Such as faithless looting but that also requires red. I just saw rites and thought it was reanimator my bad
It's fine, it's a great suggestion thought :)
I'm thinking of replacing {craterhoof} with {lord of the void} and debating on {tracker's instincts} over {mulch} or even {abrupt decay} over mulch.
Hmm.
Thinking of taking this to a tourny in April.
Thoughts? It plays well, disciple is really a giant house in this deck targeting thrag, or angel. Gaining me so much life and card draw. No one expects it.
Disciple is op with resto or thragtusk. I like to flash him with resto
Yea he is insanely good, especially when I can combo his cast with a rites cast to obzedat. Just wins games.
I'll go check.
I know a lot of them are running {loxodon smiter}.
But I don't want to go that route, I like my disciple play. And I'm debating on {garruk primal hunter} so I can spawn bodies and then have card draw when I rites.
I'm shocked to see no {jarads orders} in here, makes sure you have a target of your choice in the grave and a critter to block if needbe
I always have lingering souls for blocking fodder, always.
And with liliana discard, disciple draw, and salvage dumping, I usually get my graveyard filled.
I'm
Thinking of throwing 1 of {mulch} and a 1 of {trackers instincts}.
I like {tracker's instincts} too, cause it lets you grab that resto angel or thragtusk you need to for board control sometimes rather than dumping it.
Decisions.
I don't have blue, and the flashback cost isn't worth it.
I'd only use it via snapcaster for its original mana cost.
Board updated, added some more removal and then garruk for tokens and then having an Earlier game lethal if I can get his ult off.
Alright, I think my last edit will be the charms. I have 2 abrupt decay main and 1 side, so rest in peace isn't an issue. So I'm thinking 2 {loxodon smiter} or make my centaur healer a playset of. Or 2 {never more}.
Gonna come down to {acidic slime} most likely.
Death touch presence without vault would be nice.
Ok, I think I'm done editing for now. Now just a lot of play testing in my future until the tournament.
Bumping
Playtesting as of late :
Jund aggro 2-0
It wasn't much if a contest once mid game hit, thragtusk is too good with resto angel.
Jund midrange 2-0
Hellkite was an issue until I reanimated angel of serenity and then discipled it to hardcast another, he scooped.
Bant midrange 2-0
Wasn't much of a contest, abrupt decay was in my opening hand for game 2 when I knew he boarded rest in peace.
American flash/midrange
2-1
Hardest deck to compete against, counters an snapcasters really put me in a bind. But acidic slime really helped, I was able to destroy his mana via blinking with resto and that's how I got game 3, took out his white source.
RDW 2-0
Very close games, but perfect far seeks and mulch let me get my thragtusk and lingering souls out to keep me around.
I'm enjoying this deck a lot right now.
Mainboarded two {lotleth troll} and sided my {sigarda, host of herons} and {griselbrand}.
Whatever you do, don't take out disciple he is a amazing , also I would drop a lingering souls for mulch, mulch fixing land, you will easier have a lingering in hand or In the gy by turn 3, normally
Took out my trolls, bumped my obzedat to SB and main boarded my {centaur healers}.
If you want to do something fun. Take out the {Centaur Healer} and move the {Deathrite Shaman} to the main board. Number one is great against any rites deck, plus with {Grisly Salvage} a lot of people in standard for get you can use him as a mana dork too. Turn 3 {Thragtusk} gets you a lot of scoops lol
I used to run him mainboard but then my meta shifted from midrange to aggro fast.
There may be 1-2 other midrange/control decks, the rest is nothin but aggro.
Centaur healer just pushes aggro in.
