Storm cards read "copy this spell for each other spell cast this turn"
Does this copy ability trigger for the copies? (Ie will the copies make copied also?) I don't think so, but my friend thinks they will.
They do not! The storm mechanic only triggers when you cast the spell if im not mistaken. But i know for sure that the copys do not trigger storm or it would be an infinite spell.

No. Because that would cause an infinity clause. Copies are not cast unless specifically stated e.g. {isochron scepter}. For a spell to have been cast it must move from one zone to the stack.
