Is {obzedat, The ghost council} inflated do yall think? Simply because of his newness and coolness?
All Gatecrash is. I really don't see him staying this high. I don't see him plummeting though.

First off, Wizards likes to make money, and pretty much what Silent said, they're all new cards, and the speculation on what cards are and aren't good is still just that. Once we see what the real all stars are, and once more product is opened, we'll see increases and decreases accordingly.
I think he is goin to rise!! Just because it is the first days of gatecrash he is low but once people start pulling him and seeing how good he is he will probably go to $30
I think he may rise at first, but over the long term idt hes going to go up.. Then again, there may be some ways to abuse him to no end, in fact im sure there are

There is!!! You should have seen me in the standard tournament. I had him out and he was gaining life like crazy!!! ( maybe 40) then I put out Gideon brought him up, exiled everything( obzedat was already exiled) and screwed him over
Well someone actually gets good cards in booster packs.. Best card i got in 9 packs was a $5 battalion thing, an i play dimir or orzhov.. I mean i got 2 shocks as well but i dont like shicklands as far as actual card play goes. Theyre the necessary but boring expense, i want the business cards likeyou

I could definitely see him chilling out at $15-$20
I also believe $15-$20. He is very comparible to {thragtusk}. 5 mana (color isnt super relevant in this block). Removal has little to no effect. 5 power, life gain (5 at once verses 2,4,6,etc). However he does have the added advantage of dealing damage (life loss) without even attacking (which you can say makes up for the non 'splashable' mana cost).
He is just a black and white {Thragtusk} with a little bit more reach {Thragtusk} is 25 so {Obzedat, Ghost Council} will probably be around 30 because he could see play in modern as well and he is better than {Thragtusk} so he will be more $$$$$$$$
I think thragtusk is more abusable with his LTB... Mostly well hve to see the answers that are sideboarded todeal with obzedat, and if there is a way to just shut him down i think hell be less than thraggy cuz of no LTB

How did you exile council and hit Gideon's ultimate at the same time? Cause you do PW ability at sorcery speed, and you exile council at the beginning of the end step. And he has to come back on your next turn.

In the context of the OP, I think Obzedat is at least a 20 dollar card. He just dosges so much removal. The only things that hose him are barrow sb cards. He has a 4 life swing whenever he enters. Such a quality card.
