This is a deck I wanted to make but I think it needs a lot of work. Looking for advice on the main-board. Once I have gotten the main-board strong and competitive I can start to craft a side-board based on my local meta-game. Any ideas or criticism is welcome and appreciated!
{Angelic Overseer} is a personal favorite of mine
What about {herald of war}?
Does {Champion of the Parish} work very well in here?

I wondered the same thing. My first thought was to go for {Legion Loyalist}, but I think he has less mid-range potential with battalion being pretty hard to trigger and his lack of growth. Another option was {Doomed Traveler} but I think in the long-run champion is going to deal far more damage to the opponent should they let him stay on the board.

I honestly think {Angelic Overseer} is a better 5-drop here. {Herald of War} has future potential with attacks and brings our Aurelia down to a 5-drop as well but as long as we control a single human on turn 5, we are slamming a 5/3 hexproof indestructable flyer on the field. Herald is very vulnerable to removal like {Searing Spear} and {Supreme Verdict}. {Angelic Overseer} gives us a reliable body on the field that (more times than not) is there to stay.

I love it. Totally forgot about this card. She's going in! Thanks!
No problem! You actually inspired me to make my Selesnya with angels :)

Nice, man! Glad we could both benefit here. Brilliant.
