Is Nicol Bolas able to kill Gideon with his "0" effect?

{Nicol bolas planeswalker}
{Gideon jura} no.
{Gideon, Champion of Justice} no.
Not when they're creatures.

Also since you can only use pw abilities during your main phases you will never have this issue unless you want to kill your own gideons.

I don't understand the question...

Nicol Bolas's +3 ability will kill either Gideon while they are Planeswalkers, since they are noncreature permanents. It is sorcery-speed, therefore only usable during your main phase.

With their 0-cost abilities, they become creatures and are therefore immune to the ability. But that ability is temporary, so by the time you can use Nicol Bolas's ability on your turn, they will once again be vulnerable.

Or am I misunderstanding the question?

I think that's what he was looking for
