What's the best thing to combat mono red or R/W aggro? It seems that everyone is going to be running this lol

{Witchbane orb} helps against burn and {Aurelia's fury}.

I have a friend who 5-0s or 4-1s every week with his RDW and I asked him this question. He told me the worst card for him to see his opponent drop is {rhox faithmender}. The block oftern kills one of their attackers and gains life equal to another one, the effectively cuts their attack power in half between one and two turns. Now he combats that with "cant block" effects, but faithmender still presents a serious threat.

A note on wrath and RDW: without {blind obediance} in play, they dont care if you wrath. 8-24 creatures in their deck have or can easily have haste. Your tapped out lands spent on wrath is an open door for any of those dudes to smash face.

Yeah I still have only lost to one aggro deck since I've been playing my Bant control.  Lol wrathing them that many times you'll always have thragtuak or sphinx in hand and rhox.   So after you stabilize it's over.
