Title: Mill self combo (any suggestions?)
Post by: Birdbrain on January 29, 2013, 09:27:57 PM
I know it sounds strange, but I need a combo that can mill your own deck (the entire deck) in one turn, I want to build a deck based around {laboratory maniac} and {psychic spiral}

 {Mirror-Mad Phantasm} mills pretty hard, but that's all I can think of personally

That could be pretty sick to mill yourself and then force your a opponent to mill his whole deck. Sick idea I want on board.

Also  {Jace, Memory Adept} could help out just target yourself.

{thought scour} etc all say target player, so you can just use the standard mill cards

All good suggestions. But I am looking fOr a way to mill my entire deck in one turn. Possibly one turns 1-4? To set it up, and get enough mana to drop {laboratory maniac} or {psychic spiral}

Look at the turn 1 win combo that mills 54 cards in a turn, its in the combo corner somewhere close by

{enduring renewal} +  {Altar Of Dementia} +  {Memnite}.

{Leveler} will work with lab maniac, but not with psychic spiral.

{Demonic Consultation} too if you name a card not in your deck, like {Black Lotus}. And this one is instant speed.

Thank you. I love it how you can get help making kooky decks on here (or any kind of deck for that matter)

Could you name a card that didn't even exist?

Only problem with this is that lazav specifies opponents graveyard

Play  {Cephalid Illusionist} and  {Nomads en-Kor}/ {Shuko}. Target Illusionist a ton of times with either, milling your whole deck, putting three  {Narcomoeba}s onto the battlefield. Flashback  {Dread Return} targeting  {Laboratory Maniac}, and if you want  {Deep Analysis} yourself for the win or you can wait to win on your next turn. And that's how ou mill your whole deck and get  {Laboratory Maniac} out on the same turn. Also, I'd actually reccomend  {Lightning Greaves} for this combo.
