Against Midrange and Control it does really well though, it can swarm the board pretty fast, and recovery from Verdict isn't too hard due to {Moorland Haunt} and recursion spells such as Counterpart. To be honest half the time I play {Artful Dodge} on Talrand just to get a drake, it's a nice way to let him beat face too. Most control decks can't handle {Master of the Pearl Trident} either, when the Islandwalk counts this deck gets mean.
