Yay dimir! The pre-release I'm going to is tomorrow. I'm so excited! I'm trying to figure out if Bug or Esper is a better build for dimir.
Went 3-2 with an Esper Mill.
Gruul is scary...
Boros is more scary than gruul...;) Went 4-2 with Gruul.... 2-4 with Simic and we will see tomorrow... Will have Boros...;)
I went 3-3 with orzhov, extort is really reallly good, but boros can outpace you.
Went 3-1 with Gruul.. If I got off to a good start, they couldn't catch up. My deck was a little inconsistent though which accounted for my loss.

I only won 2 rounds...I didn't know the minimum was 40 cards until after my last round :(

I got some unblock able dudes in simic. And so I added a couple of cipher cards that helped support them. You want lots of cards with high power/low toughness and vice versa. Also, look for support cards for the cards you get

There were 77 people at my prerelease. The store ended up giving a box away as a door prize!
Boros was out of supply so I went gruul and splashed white. Went 2-4 which wasnt too happy about but pulle a {domri rade} and {aurelia's fury} both in sealed packs.

My LGS had around 100 people, now they're able to host PTQ's!!! Hell yeah! It was brutal, we played 7 rounds. We had like 5 pods going by the end though, went 5-2 Simic, my pulls were insane. HOLY CRAP! {Elusive Krasis} + {Ooze Flux} is sooo good!!!!! Every Rare I pulled was playable! Here was the deck I ran:

I ended up going 3-2 with boros with a black splash. I was Mana screwed on the loses, one to dimir with a splash of green, the other simic. Boros ruled the night, simic second in being played and game outcomes. I ended up winning 3 extra packs for placing 10th and a pretty sweet akroma binder in the raffle. I had a blast! I wish I could play tomorrow :(

Same here =/ I almost barely got to play today, only had $25 at first, barely made the $30. Ahh well, looks like I'll have to wait until game day... I played 4 prereleases for RTR, this kinda sucks I hate being broke.

I was playing orzhov, but I pulled an {Aurelia, the Warleader} and a {Rubblebelt Raiders} I'm plannIng to use in another deck
Went gruul, splashed white. Won 4 times, tied once, and lost 2 times. I didn't pull any amazing cards, but I didn't have to put any bad[\b] cards in because I pulled a lot of good/mediocre creatures.
I went simic with splash of red. I went 2-3 but I got great pulls!!! {Godless Shrine} 2 {Stomping Ground} {Duskmantle Seer} {Prime Speaker Zegana} 2 {Rubblehulk} {Consuming Aberration} {Treasury Thrull} 2 {Fathom Mage} and a {Gideon, Champion of Justice}
Went to another one, went boros, wanted to splash black but no good orzhov pulls so splashed green. Pulled a {assemble the legion}, {biomancer} and I forgot the name but adephage. Using a combo of {assemble the legion} {rubblebelt raiders} and {madcap skills} I swung for 17. I didnt read his {boros reckoner} correctly which blocked and sent the 17 at me -_-

Proud to say I conquered a prerelease. Undefeated after 7 grueling (not gruuling) rounds, and claimed a booster box as my prized.
I played boros, of course. All 3 prereleases I played the winner was boros. My deck was flat-out stupid. I had 2 {Firemane Angel}s, 2 {Mugging}s, 3 of the 2/3 Batallion elements that get +2/+0, and a {Sunhome Guildmage}, {Homing Lightning}, {Smite}, {boros charm}, {Martial Glory}... Honestly I think someone at wizards just packed my guild box as a sick joke, saying "let's just have the guy who gets this one win."
I played in a 2hg match. Teammate and I got screwed 3rd match. I couldn't draw mana and teammate could only draw mana. Went 2-1. Finished 3rd. Got 2 playmats for 3rd. Not bad. The team that came in 2nd had a guy that pulled 2 {Gideon, Champion of Justice} in one pack! Gideon kicked some butt in their 1st 2 rounds but never showed up in final match.

My prerelease was 30 too. It was fun. Went 3-2 with a dimir. At first I had esper build bc I pulled two {Godless Shrine}s and one foil {Deathpact Angel}. I played her ONCE after two and a half rounds. I won the first two rounds but i was lucky. So I realized I had good green creatures since I lacked creatures with dimir. So I went BUG and even though I lost the next two rounds, I had harder opponents and made it a tougher fight. The last round I won because I totally dominated the first game, lost the next game bc of an {Ætherize}, then dominated the last game. So I was happy. Got an {Imperious Perfect} tshirt.

Place I played 2hg was box for 1st and only $25. Then they made up prizes for 2nd and 3rd.
Our first place prize was 15 packs and third was 7
1st pre release went gruul splashed white finished 2-1-1. Got two packs wins were lucky with a 2nd round bye and third round opponent got mana screwed Had some good pulls {sacred foundry} {Boros reckoner} and an {Aurelia, the war leader}. 2nd release played Dimir. Went 3-1 tried to play mill but would just beat face with cipher abilities and. {consuming aberration} Had good pulls also. Including {watery grave}. 2 {mind grinds} both in prize packs and a second Aurelia Overall good set can't wait to draft it.
