I need more consistent mana base without addig too many lands. Id like to keep under 10 lands. Im feeling like {simian spirit guide is a must, so ill change that, but other suggestions for cards and/or speed would help. The goal is to have enouhh mana to drop rakdos by turn 3, and hopefully get in 3-4 damage on turn 4 minimum to allow a super cheap hellkite or something
Yaa 4 is too many for sure
I refuse to use artifact lands such as {ancient den} simply onthe principle of how cheap they are, do you think i could afford 4 {darksteel citadel}? Im having trouble with mana as it is in my sample draws, i feel as if that were askingfor trouble
I dropped such a heavy artifact subtheme in the hopes of having more room for mana producers, rather than wasting 8 spots for 2-3 {mox opal}
On the dream sample draw i got rakdos down turn 2 with a mox opal leadn myr and a memnite, but had emptied my hand! O.o
I think it was {blackcleave cliffs} {mountain} {mox opal} and {lotus petal} for mana, and an exiled {simian spirit guide} to play {lightning bolt} for the damage. I had {memnite} down and used {mox opal} before saccing {lotus petal}, played rakdos after the bolt, and played leaden myr for free
