Trying to make quite a fast midrange deck.
No sideboard yet. Any comments would be appreciated.

Needs more {Thragtusk} to be a midrange.
I must ask though, why {Experiment One}?
It just seems out of place when you could be running {Farseek} to help speed up your deck and have good mana fixing.

If you want to go midrange, you will need (like juice said) more ramp and more midrange cards like the thragster.

But looking at this as a deck that isn't trying tk be midrange, it is very nice looking. Basically one difference between midrange and aggro is that midrange spends early turns ramping, while aggro spends its early turns developing the mana curve. Your deck has a great mana curve; experiment 1 on turn 1, geist on turn 2, swinging for 4. Turn 3 either rancor and another small guy, or smiter or ranger. T4 well you get the picture. The point is you always have something to do with your mana, so ramping isn't as necessary.

But again if you want to make it midrange add ramp and more 5 drops.
