Title: Deck Build-Isochron Sceptor
Post by: Pc1331 on January 20, 2013, 05:51:44 PM
I'm thinking about making a deck around {Isochron Scepter}. What are the best cards to use, in your opinion?

If you want to have some fun with the scepter, use cards like {Boom // Bust}. To look at them all, go to card database > search by text > filter > type in "//"

It was my mistake:
You have to search by name, not text. // works by name.

 {Orim's Chant} over silence? Best combo in my friends cube except palincheon mana doubler.

If you run 2 or more scepters, of course you can always create an endless supply by using an  {Animate Artifact} and  {Followed Footsteps} on one.

Anyways, have one equipped with  {Autumn's Veil} and the second with  {Alter Reality}
Or the equivalent versions, depending on how old school you go

I'm pretty sure most single cards on an  {Isochron Scepter} will hose your opponent bad enough that you shouldn't need 2 card combos if done properly.
In some cases, yes. In others, a single card on a scepter would be useful but not decisively so, which is why having multiple options available is very handy

Oh I'm not disagreeing that multiple  {Isochron Scepter}s is better... Just unlikely to happen
Which is why having an option in the deck to clone the scepters is good as well
