I just want you to know, that I am giving you one week to either return my cards, or send the cards you promised. If you do not, I will contact the police in your city, and I will file an Internet scam charge against you. I have your full name, and your home address. You were given a second chance by many people on this site after your first attempt to steel from people. This one week warning is the only 3rd chance you're going to get to make things right.
Same goes for me as well if I do not get my cards or money by the end of the week.
And me, also. Lost almost $200 to you!
Same here

You guys should find his mom and tell on him. That would probably work better than the police. (Serious suggestion)
The police can talk to his mom for us.

I just know how the police view crimes like this. If someone is not injured they probably won't even send an officer to talk to the kid. Especially in a city like Fresno (which I think is where this guy lives).
Use the Interweb to find out his phone number and then just call his mother directly. :)
This definitely makes me feel better, I sent him cards and they conveniently "got lost in the mail"...I hate people like this

Wow, exact same thing happened to me as well except I resent the "lost" cards to him again and never heard from him again. :(
There is not really any recourse for this type of behavior. I was ripped off by Kuberr, so I know the feeling. If you remember when that happened then you know the mantra I had: "Don't ever trade anything you can't afford to lose".
I would like for this to all work out, but we all have reason to believe he has skipped town. Adding to the fact that he made a number of high value trades with lots of people before mysteriously vanishing. It resembles the other heists to a tee.
Moving forward I would like to extend my apologies to everyone who lost their cards, and if you've ever got a high value trade from here on out, I will act as a go between.
Simply private message me, I'll give you my address: include the proposed trade, Include an addressed and stamped envelope. I'll see that the items are mailed out once both sides arrive. It may be slower, and slightly more costly, but it is recommended for trades over $50.
And if you've got any questions about my character; you can feel free to PM me, or use another moderator as a go between. I believe we're all fine as long as the addressed, stamped envelope comes with it.
I'm based out of New York.

Anything over like what 200$ is a federal dispute.
Unfortunately it's much higher. Like $2000 to be federal. Otherwise you're looking at small claims court.
So, how much has he stolen from us? He got me for:
2 {bonfire of the damned} $53.00 mid
1 {Gisela, blade of goldnight} $7.50 mid
1 {cyclonic rift} $2.00 mid
1 {supreme verdict} $4.00
Total: $66.50
Each state has its own laws. We're looking at California law here, which has multiple different statutes on its penal code defining grand theft or grand larceny at multiple different amounts. Most commonly around $950-$1000.

Really. His mom is on Facebook. His girlfriend just preggers at the time but he hadn't told anyone (later told us that it turned out not to be his kid). He has one roommate that I could find. Blah blah.

He said that his brother was trying to get into standard and had a lot of old cards. He was suposed to send me 3 {arcbound ravagers}. I even threw in a freebie for his brother. I didn't add that to the list that he stole from me, because I gave that to him. It was that mythic u/w sphynx creature from rtr.

I'm leaning more towards this. Granted, I lost a whole hell of a lot less than everyone else, and I am kinda pissed that I still don't have my complete playset of {Isolated Chapel}s :P
Same for me I've already sold cards off to make back what I lost in that trade and paid off my preorder because of this and being told I was gonna get cash I made a larger then normal preorder
Since he ripped people off under one name, and came back and did it again under a new name, it might be a good idea to make a stickied thread with rippers real names on it. I.E. Joey Wood would be on it, and whatever Kuberr's real name is. Just so people will somewhat know who to look out for whilst trading addresses and such, and to serve as a warning to any of those people or other future rippers. Just an idea.
Or even better, a locked topic that only mods can add to and take off of. Once the mods convene and decide that there was a scammer, they can that person's real name to the list. It would keep it a little more organized than the untrustworthy traders sticky.
Btw guys I'm joking I trust you mana also idk if names would work possibly addresses. I understand its unethical to put someone address up but they've put themselves in that situation so I give that the 👍 up
Maybe just their name and like city and state or something. Doesn't have to be the full address.

Well what would stop them from writing down a different name ?
This is true. I just think posting their full address is opening up a can of worms, and is probably crossing some kind of legal boundaries. Oh well.
I feel like this stuff should be examined closely to see who he is playing to be. Makes me uncomfortable to trade with new people :/

Absolutly agree! Any time I get a trade offer from someone that just join I alot of the time just ignore it because I don't know who I can trade safely with anymore. And if I do trade and they don't have like atleast +5 karma I will make them send their end first. It is pretty sad. This place used to be such a good place to trade.

I don't see what stops them from using a fake name or a friends address.
Have no idea how it works in US but here u can make class/ mass action... All the people who were damaged by one subject report the crime together...

This is also true. But as Piotr said in another thread where I suggested this, countries have laws to protect people's identities and personal information from being shared without consent. Even thieves. So the idea is a no-go anyways.

I think if all the people that got ripped off by this person call the police in his city, and give name and address, and value of cards, something will happen. He screwed a lot of people over. I'm deffinately calling the police there, and at the least I want a report filed, and an Internet scam investigation.

I believe that this is the best/smartest course of action at this point. At the very least, the local police in his area can advise you on on the best course of action to take next. They hate thieves too, after all, and will try to help you if they can. And you can trust them to tell it to you straight.

Please let us know what they say to do.
Internet Fraud can bring on harsher charges. That would be the real way to pursue the person. Multiple people reporting on the same person will increase your chances.
I just know some departmens are not big enough to deal with scam artists and low level criminals.

That's exactly what I am talking about... U should definitely try to contact each other sum the damage and report it together... Authorities should listen to that...

Can't you find out the forwarding address? I am not sure if you can or can't, but it would stand to reason you could possibly find out if they put in a forwarding address.
