Since very early in 2011 I have maintained one EDH deck that I have never deviated away from or decinstructed for any reason except revisions. That deck is mono green {omnath, locus of mana}.
Having it for so long I have fine tuned it to a point where I am pretty happy and over the years I have slowly made it prettier. This process began with foil rebecca guay {elvish piper} and then buy a box promo {birds of paradise}. Two of my favorite arts. I recently aquired the vaults {omnath, locus of mana} and added my promo {wurmcoil engine} and foil {thrun, the last troll}.
Birds and piper aside I have found one art work that I needed to have in my precious edh: Grand Prix {lotus cobra} promo. That art is absolutely amazing and fits perfectly with my other favorites. The order was placed a few minutes ago for some gatecrash preorders and I convinced my teammate to add in the beautiful cobra!
If you have read this far then you either love edh, are interested in a majority of what I have to say, are bored, or worse truly enjoy reading and dont have a good book right now. To endulge any of the above I will further explain that I only compete in and trade for standard so the fact I have as good of an edh as I do is pretty amazing. Also I tend to shy away from green unless it ramps me into a combo based in another color so most of my edh has been random cards I couldnt trade for what I needed. Also my collection is mostly shared with my teammate Dan (I tech with two different Dans, one is super a creative deck builder like me and the one I share with is a rules wiz and should be a judge) so it is hard for me to justify obtaining edh cards cause it doenst benifit him at all.
Good read but i failed to see what you were getting at. Where you trying to trade? Were you just telling us? If so congrats.

I recently finally "completed" my favorite EDH deck too, and its a great feeling. I guess now I'll have to scour Gatecrash for even better cards. But for now, the search is finally over!

Those full art Zendikar lands are too expensive to foil out! Maybe one day.....
Yea they are, but Dan bought a bunch when we went to GP salt lake so more often then not every basic in my deck is a foil zen, but that doesnt say too much when most my decks run 4-6 basics.
Yes that "completed" feeling is what I am talking about, the next hunt is {gaea's cradle} which is going to e quite a ways off. {Tarmagoyf} would be nice too, but not that crappy timeshifted border (sorry I really dislike that frame).

I was going to comment on here saying my Golden Egg would be finding a {Gaea's Cradle}, that is literally the final piece I need for my EDH, I've been looking for years =/
You could get a {Tarmogoyf} from the modern set when it comes out.

It's pretty hard to get. I obviously don't jave obe. (I'm 14, I don't have many old cards except for random janks that I use in EDH.)
