Title: 2 Sorins
Post by: Juggalonoke on February 05, 2012, 01:53:49 PM
So I just pulled the new Sorin and I own the m12 one already if I drop both into one deck, Would I be able to have both in play at the same time or would the legendary/mythic rules take effect?

Can only have one Planeswalker in play with the same subtype name.  In the middle of the card next to Planeswalker will give you the subtype...or Sorin in this case.  So no you cannot have a {Sorin Markov} and a {Sorin, lord of Innistrad} in play at the same type since they have the same subtype name.

Thank you very much!

Same basic question would rith, the awakener and darigaaz, the igniter be able to be in play at the same time  both are sub-type dragons?

The subtype thing only pertains to planeswalkers.  You could play both of those dragons.  Legendary creatures go by the same name rule.  Planeswalkers had to have a different rule since one Planeswalker can be on different cards.

And as far as different versions of Legendary Creatures go, you can have them on the field at the same time. (I.E.: {Mikaeus the Unhallowed} and {Mikaeus the Lunarch}) I just think that's cool =P You can run both Mikaeus'!

For those who know the lore.
{Jeska,Warrior Adept}, {Phage, The Untouchable}, {Karona, False God}, {Akroma, Angel of Wrath}, {Akroma, Angel of Fury}. Whew! I'm bad at typing that took a awhile.

Are all of those creatures supposed to be the same person transforming over and over?
