Title: DMC: Devil May Cry (review)
Post by: Missingkirby34 on January 16, 2013, 04:51:48 PM
I got the game yesterday (after 6 months on preorder) and the minute the game started I knew I would love it. Now let me state that yes I played all 4 of the others, yes I love the original Dante and yes this game changes all that. This game is utterly amazing in everyway, it sticks to the DMC basic fighting, lots of weapons and of course the Bad @$$ main character, Dante. Everything about Dante has changed except his smart @$$ attitude and his thirst for @$$ kicking. The story line is great, there is smooth gameplay, easy to learn controls and the cutscenes make me feel like I am watching a movie. DMC has its cons to however, mainly small things though, like you don't have an auto lock on button and sometimes the camera angles get funky, Don't worry the pros outweigh the cons in this game. I would definitely recommend it to any fans of the old DMC or any RPG "cut 'em up" type of game. I give it a 9/10.

Is it a reboot and completely unrelated to the first DMC games?

I remember playing DMC 2 and 3 on PS2 :o

I also remember DMC 1 being so frustrating that I just rage quit and never picked it back up :P
