Title: Spell Response
Post by: cltrn81 on February 05, 2012, 11:55:39 AM
Let's say my opponent casts a spell....can I respond by playing {unsummon} on my {Snapcaster Mage} in play and then recast the snappy to cast a {mana leak} in my GY with the snappy's ability before his spell resolves?

{snapcaster} only works when it enters the battlefield.

{snapcaster} only works when it enters the battlefield.

That does not answer the question.  He has flash so he would enter before the other spell resolves......

This works because Snappy has flash. Each part can be cast and resolve with the original spell still waiting on the stack.
