Title: Grave Betrayal
Post by: Draem1 on January 15, 2013, 08:35:47 PM
If a creature is exiled does that constitute dying?  And if so does the exiled creature return under grave betrayal before it is exiled?

Dying means "goes to the graveyard from the battlefield." A card getting exiled never goes to the graveyard, so no, it does not count as dying.

Cards that are exiled don't die they just get removed from play,

If a creature dies it is sent to the graveyard
( even if I doesnt make it there as in  {Rest in Peace})
being sacrificed, being killed my damage or having its toughness reduced to 0, the only ways to die, for a creature.

Well considering only creatures die... Yeah. Also they can die to the legendary rule, and the planes walker rule.

I always thought those rules were funny.

Jace: "omg you have the same name as me" -kills himself-

Saint traft: "omg you have the same name as me" -kills himself-

Lol I do understand why they have the rule but at the same time its kinda funny lol
