Title: Hex Proof, Aura Enchantments, Oblivion Ring, Plainswalkers
Post by: Harmon74 on January 15, 2013, 10:54:09 AM
Question #1:  If my opponent has a hex proof creature and then puts an enchantment on it like {rancor}.  Can I target {rancor} with an {oblivion ring}?

Question #2:  if a planeswalker gets {oblivion ring}ed, and then the o-ring gets destroyed, does the planeswalker return with all his loyalty counters, or does it return with the same number it had on it when it got removed from the game?

Thanks.

1) Yes, the creatures abilities are seperate from the enchantment's (otherwise {Diplomatic Immunity} would be redundant).

2) It's loyalty would reset. Permanents that are exiled come back to the battlefield as if they were just played.
