So I ordered some gate crash cards of SCG for the first time, put in all my info, but had my cards shipped to a different address then my billing address, almost a week after the order is placed I receive an email saying that I have 2 business days to give them a satisfactory explanation as to why I'm having them shipped to my non billing address or my order is cancelled.
Really, I have to explain myself as to why I'm shipping a product someplace. And they have to be satisfied, or my order is cancelled.
Anyone else have a problem like this?
I'm just very irritated about this at the moment.
Be thankful, they are refusing to charge you for someone else's cards without your knowledge.
It really not as strict as it sounds. Same thing happened to me. I ordered some stuff after i moved and before i could change my address at the bank. Just call and tell them your bank account info hasn't been updated yet and they'll push it through. It's really not a big deal. Just a five minute hassle is all.
What, they shipped and after shipping contacted you as if they didn't ship yet?

Gatecrash cards ;) can't ship til release
The way the OP worded it was "but had my cards shipped to a different address then my billing address," indeed making it look like the cards were already shipped.

Sorry for confusing wording. I was irritated about it, and the fact they emailed me on Friday when I didn't have time to call so I have to wait till Monday. I'm just hoping they don't cancel it as soon as they open Monday.
It's all good! Being prerelease, if they do cancel your order, you should be able to just put the order through again. And if not, in sure eBay has what you're looking for for cheaper than SCG anyways.
Same here. My billing address is my parents house but my shipping is my house. Once I called them the lady that talked to me was very nice. They just want to make sure that someone else isn't buying cards with your money. Once you give them a reason they will put a note on your scg account and won't ask you agian.
It just agrivated me the way they worded it. "They need a reason that they find acceptable."
It just put me off.

Yep certain wordings can do that.
Yeah I see how the way the worded it could piss you off but at the same time there intentions are good.
The same thing happene to me during x-mas bought the book by Chapin to give to my roommate. I sent it to m work address so he did not know i got it for him and two days after while I was at work they called the house phone my roommate answered the phone and well after talking to them he figured out his gift -_- and star city made me change the address i the home adress..
It is annoying but its eaiser to do what they want than fight it, after all there the one with the cards.
I will not order from scg anymore.. I had a 250$ order that i just never recieved, turns out they sent it to the wrong address and told me that its my fault that i didnt verify the address... I printed the page that showed them i had the correct address and they still said it was my fault. After 3 months of fighting with them they refunded my money. After that id rather use troll and toad or tcg player but ill never use scg again
Just don't use SCG. They price wayyy too highly and are real mean. Troll and Toad or ebay are the places to buy from.
I've never had an issue with ebay. Just make sure you buy from a more established seller with many reviews, because paypal may withhold the transaction for like a month to make sure the seller is not a scammer...or something like that...if he or she has only sold like 1 item.
The cards I'm ordering aren't all that expensive so in good in that respect. (Mind grind, the battalion angel)
Plus I wanna order the white extort enchantment before it rises in price to bad.
