Title: Rakdos help?
Post by: Spikepit on January 11, 2013, 07:40:35 PM
Not sure of the scope of what's out there lately but have noticed that there is a fair bit of 'take control of target creature' speeds and lots of sac and fling. Just so I don't get overwhelmed and exit the MtG world for a while again, can you lovely peeps give me an idea of some great cards in Standard to make a cohesive deck outta these kinda cards.

(I don't have a single M13, so leave those suggestions out, thanks)

Thanks buddy. I've been in the game since Revisedish, just stepped out for a couple of months. Don't like RDW, it's actually very out of character for me to even consider 🔥. Much more of an Esper man, so I'm looking at the sac their creatures, then reanimate them against themselves kind of angle.

Grixis colour are brutal for snagging other people's creatures. I have a deck built entirely around this mechanic. Instant speed {act of aggression} or {ray of command}, and the slower {traitorous blood}, {mark of mutiny} or even {slave of bolas}. Nothing quite like waiting for your opponent to drop something huge and then taking it, spanking them with it, than sacrificing it...lol
