My friend is getting boros in the gatecrash prelease. How would I beat it? I want to keep him on his toes

Simic or Orzhov have a good grind-y playstyle, both would be fairly well positioned with the right draws. However, this new X cost Boros card really makes Boros a huge threat- luckily it is Mythic. I'd wait to see what else gets spoiled.

Thanks. He'll never be acclimated to tournament style play unless I make things hard for him. He got upset when I pulled a {cathers crusade} + {thatchers revolt} combo on him. And I know there is a lot worse than that out there. Also, poking at the wholes in his deck will help him make the wholes smaller, an make him a competitive player faster right?

Simic seems so solid. They have 1-5 drop Evolve dudes in the common/uncommon slots! That's so frekin' good! "So, um yeah, all of my guys are bombs, thanks to my bombs..." wtf?!?!
