Title: Elder of Laurels

I think I already know the awnser, though just to be sure. Can you use {elder of laurels} ability to target a creature on the stack? I'm guessing it would misfire, but I just want to be sure

Anything on the stack is a spell

So no than? I'm guessing you would almost have to put it on the stack before it. Could you do that, and choose the target when it (the ability) resolves?

You choose the target when the ability is activated not when it resolves.
