Title: Blockers?
Post by: Malleo on January 07, 2013, 04:17:23 PM
Okay so the problem I've had with scavenge is pumping up a creature just to have it blocked and the destroyed with a sorcery. Enter  {Rite of Consumption}. With that I can bypass all of their blockers and gain that life too, it helps when you don't have trample

Um. This post seems out of place for the sections it's in

Is the problem that I was only talking about  {Rite of Consumption}? I meant that it could be used in a combo with any big creature or until end of turn boosts to cause instant lifelink damage, even though you lose the creature

{Skullbriar, the Walking Grave} looks good for this, scavenge creatures to make him bigger, then when you use  {Rite of Consumption} use  {Rise from the Grave} or something similar to bring him back
