Title: Silverblade Paladin, Double Strike, Multiple Instances

What happens if I were to soulbound two silverblades together. Does it still stay as double strike?  Is there any extra damage that would be dealt other than the 2/2 double strike damage?

The creatures would simply have double strike.
From the Comprehensive Rules:

"702.4e Multiple instances of double strike on the same creature are redundant."
