Title: Forbidden Orchard, Beast Within, Pheldagraff, Homeward Path
Post by: Double-O-Scotch on January 06, 2013, 10:29:43 AM
I'm not sure on the rulings here.
With cards like {beast within} and {pheldagriff} it says the opponent puts the tokens into play which tells me they OWN the tokens, cause they put them into play. {forbidden orchard} states that I put the token into play, only under my opponents control which suggest that despite me not controlling them, I own them cause I put them into play. Sooo my question is. When I activate {homeward path} do I gain control of all my 1/1 colourless spirit creature tokens I've been distributing amongst my opponents the whole game?

The owner of a token is whoever controlled it when it resolved. So the owner would be your opponent.

I believe it is the second ruling on homeward path.
