Title: Karn Question
Post by: cltrn81 on February 03, 2012, 09:52:37 AM
I was looking at the rulings for {karn liberated} and it appears that creatures put into play with karn when the third ability is activated will allow those creatures to attack or use tap abilities the first turn.  Is this true or am I reading it wrong?

You are reading that correctly. You can use abilities and attack with creatures you have controlled since the beginning of your turn. Karn restarts the game and puts the creatures on the 'field. Then you start your turn. So you HAVE been in control of the creatures from the start of your turn. ðŸ''

Karn hits the reset button, puts the permanents into play and says "Go."
Then you draw your opening hand, mully if you want, untap, upkeep, draw (if not playing 1v1).  You've gone through the whole beginning step with those dudes in play, so they don't have "summoning sickness".
