My infect deck. Didn't want to shell out $80 for a playset of Noble Hierarchs.

I like it

I was a BG infect player back when it was standard.

Thanks! I must've stuck the {Temple Garden} in on accident.

I never liked Black to be in a competitive infect deck. If I'd have had splashed any color it would have been Blue for the unblockable infect guy

{Blighted Agent} yes UG infect is by far the most effective in my opinion. Black just has much less viable options. {skithiryx the blight dragon} or whatever is all theyve got and hes awful. Blue has.. {artful dodge} {blighted agent} and thats about it but still

Ohhhh no.  Skittles is an absolutely fantastic card.  4/4 flying with infect for 5 is decent to begin with.  Then tack haste and the ability to regenerate?  Sure giving him haste is six mana, but that gives them less time to have an answer to him.

Thats too slow for infect.. Ive never even seen 5 mana on the field.

I used him as a 1-of bomb.  Swinging with {Blighted Agent} and {Mutagenic Growth} for the most part.  But when the crap hits the fan, drop a skittles for the win.  I even used him in my BW control deck for a while and he honestly did some work.

 {Phyrexian Crusader} is a crazy good card also for black

There's also {pact of negation}

I would also consider Red for {assault strobe} and {simian spirit guide}. Turn {ichorclaw myr} or turn 2. finish with a {glistened elf}, {might of old krosa} {assault strobe}

I used simian spirit guide cuz i needed a cheap efficient way to ramp 1 mana 1 time, and i saw your deck and it just was too perfect. Assault strobe looks dirty too. I just have to thin about it first. Pact of negation would be a perfect 1-of but you dont exactly have to have blue for it because you wont be able to pay the cost regardless

I always figured {kessig wolf run} would be great in an infect deck.

As a late game surprise maybe but you would rather have a solid mana base. Turn 1 you need a forest so if all you have for a land is kessig you're pretty screwed. That's the reason I cut down on my {inkmoth nexus} to 3 because it was causing me to draw too many dead hands

No. You need faster drops and the crusader is 3 plus on the ground. You need better and faster options with infect.

The bottom line is you want 4 blighted agent and 4 glistener elf, along with 6-8 ways to protect your creatures, the rest of the infect deck just falls into place

Ever thought of {Rouge's Passage}

Considered it. I'm of the opinion that sinking 5 lands into making one infect guy unblockable is subpar to pumping my guys, however. Maybe as a one-of.
