Title: Creatures, Fight, "Fight Target Creature"

Say I have a card with the effect "target creature you control fights target creature you dont control" and I have a 10/10 with trample that fights a 5/5, would trample go into effect and have that 5 damage go over?

No damage will be dealt from trample. The two creatures deal damage to each other, and that's all.
