Looks good but token cards like {endless army of the dead} and {undead alchemist}are fun. Maybe run 2 or 3 of those

I probably run {Cancel} in place of {Turn Aside}, {Grimgrin, Corpse Reborn} in place of 1 reaper and 1 captain. Other than that nice job

No, it will blow your own creatures away and you can't win anymore

It would work well with the new Mikaeus though. All your guys would come back stronger after Proccing undying and would make them hate life even more.

that's kinda the point. Mass creature removal is for when your opponent gets outta hand. That's why {Day of Judgement} is in nearly every standard W deck.

Day of judgment is good in a white control deck because it kills everything YOUR OPPONENT has. If you run aggressive creature based deck, board wipes kills your creatures, reseting and eliminating your chances of winning. You would not {brimstone volley} your own creature so timely won't trigger the tokens would you? Same principle.

Maybe a {Grave Titan} or two? You have the mana for it. I mean technically it's two 2/2 Black Zombies and a 6/6 Giant, so running him with lords is still beneficial. His little friends that are falling out all over the place still get the boost even if he doesn't. Even then, you still have a 6/6 Giant!

I'd suggest more zombies and less cards that kill your own, besides {gravecrawler} which may not trigger as much as you need it to with the low amount of zombies you already have, you don't have anything that will bring them back like {gravedigger}, {ghoulraiser}, {ghoulcaller's chant}, {gravepurge} seems like it could have potential. {call to the grave} is a really decent card for zombies, only takes out opponents creatures. Unless they're playing zombies in which case you can side it out for something like dismember. You haven't put in any zombies with power greater than 2 let alone 4 like {geralf's mindcrusher}, {relentless skaabs}, and {stitched drake} for flying which you would be screwed by otherwise without enough removal. I honestly wouldn't play counters in this kind of deck because there's so many spells that can benefit zombies like {rooftop storm} combod with all of the previous zombies I've listed basically gets you an army of zombies if you have 2 or 3 gravedigger/ghoulraiser in the graveyard with a bunch of your other ones, you can basically rez them all for free.

Takes a deep breath. End rant.

No rotting fensnake can be taken out by a gutshot to the face but skinrender murders as soon as it comes in. Cards bring it back and it turns into early game control ecspecially against vamps and spirits

Rooftop storm is so badd :(
It makes it so that those 3 drops and two drops cost six in total to play. You may save a few drops of mana, assuming you haven't played anything for the entire game. And even so, you are spending a card, which may as well be another good zombie.

{Rooftop Storm} is too pricy (mana-wise) for competitive play. Great for combos and casual shenanegans, but I wouldn't try it to win 1v1.

Agreed!
Now, if you could survive long enough to hit a {Graveclalwer} + {Rooftop Storm} + {Grimgrin, Corpse-born} combo, you might have something.

I've seen elesh norn hard cast, cards like that can be played late game I just don't see why a six cost enchant can't be played, people are looking into curse decks, playing titans and other huge 8 cost creatures in green decks for example
Title: Re: u'll B Zombified
Post by: BlackJester on February 02, 2012, 10:59:31 PM
The thing is, those bombs should end the game when they hit. By the time you hit your Storm, you won't have much left in hand so you're relying on top decking. By then you could cast any zombie you'd draw.
The point is, outside of a combo, the storm doesn't win you the game. It just makes all of your zombies, that you could afford to play by then any way, free.

But if you have a 5 mana zombie but need to make sure it plays, than haveing mana to counter is good so roof top storm is still good, but really late when you just need to make sure u can counter.

Why not just play your own counters?  At least they're useful for other things.
