Something new I wanted to try. I really havent seen any other decks running these colors. Seems pretty solid on paper. It would be much better with the GTC shocks.

It's a good color combo to start working on.  It will only get better with gatecrash.  You'll get the {B}/{U}, and the {G}/{U} guilds.

Hinterlands are almost always gonna come into play tapped with this mana base.

Not necessarily.  I count 6 viable lands.

Win con?
I think it's {thragtusk}.

That drownyard land could be a good utility land in this deck, and maybe an alternate win con.  {jace, the memory adept} might be better in this deck as well.

The mana base looks a bit clunky now. Thats the main reasing for running {Farseek}. This is basically a shell I was putting together as a starting point for when GTC comes out. I like the idea of the mill land and the use of  {Jace, Memory Adept} . I also figured that the shaman could serve as a win con.

This gave me an idea for a similar deck, using {Dread Slaver} for my Thrag spot and, 4 {Snapcaster Mage} and 4 {Diregraf Captain}.

-2  {Swamp}
-1 {Ultimate Price}
-3 {Jace, Architect of Thought}

+2  {Nephalia Drownyard}
+1  {Tragic Slip}
+3 {Jace, Memory Adept}

Working pretty good on cockatrice so far.
