Title: Emperor, Academy Rector
Post by: Jekawo on December 22, 2012, 10:22:29 AM
If my emperor owns an {academy rector} and sends it out to me, it dies do I get to find stuff or does he?

If a card says "you" on it, that is refering to whoever is controling it. So if you controlled it when it died, you get to search for an enchantment.

(Btw in Emperor, whoever summoned the creature still "controls" it when it is moved.)

Short answer: he gets it

Edit: I would like confirmation on this before I post resolved, as I never play Emperor!

Pulled from wizards.com: Players may "march" creatures into the territories of neighboring allies. Creatures who relocate to another territory remain under the control of their original summoner. They still untap, attack, and recover from summoning sickness on their controller's turn.
