I haven't played magic for a long time and when I did it was very casual with limited cards.  I have decided to pick the game back up again and build a deck with the current set.  I use to play either a swamp rat deck or a mountain goblin deck, so these two colors felt the most familiar.  The basic idea of the deck is to build fast and hit hard.  Please tell me how I did.

I'd say you did pretty well IMO. One thing I noticed though was, you have quite a few Guttersnipes but not many instants or sorceries to take advantage of his ability.

What if I add 4xMind Rot and 4xAnnihilating Fire.  Would that round it out, or over stuff the deck?

How about 4 {Rakdos Guildgate}? You're keeping this Return to Ravnica only?

I am trying to keep to Return to Ravnica because I don't have any cards right now and I am planning on buying a booster box.  So these cards would be the most accessible to me right now.

Ah well, what about  {Rakdos Shred-Freak} or  {Rix Maadi Guildmage}? Also if you can get some of these: {Dreadbore} and if you get that booster and manage to pull a couple of  {Blood Crypt} they cannot hurt. But it looks pretty nice for just sticking to Return to Ravnica.

Sorry for the double post. But about your reply. I was thinking to maybe take out those enchantments. I personally don't think they'd come in handy. And you can replace them with some better cards like  {Annihilating Fire} or the like. Also I think  {Bellows Lizard} is alright. But you may be better off replacing it with something more effective.

So remove  {Deviant Glee} and  {Stab Wound}?

Well ultimately it's your decision. But I would. I find enchantments on creatures not that reliable. But they do help with the kind of deck you're making.

No, I agree.  It would be more effective to have more sorcerys to push  {Guttersnipe} ability.  I also removed  {Bellows Lizard} and replaced with  {Rakdos Shred-Freak}.  I was keeping bellows lizard as a first turn card, in case I didn't draw  {Drainpipe Vermin}, but I think shred-freak's Haste will be a better help.
