Title: Cloudshift, Huntmaster of the Fells, Ravager of the Fells
Post by: Missingkirby34 on December 18, 2012, 05:45:42 PM
I have been playing with my werewolf deck for awhile and I was pretty positive I knew every rule that affected it however my brother brought up a good point; if when you  {Cloudshift} a  {Ravager of the Fells} it comes back as  {Huntmaster of the Fells}, when you flip a werewolf or any other two faced card does it untap? It's probably a very stupid question that's obviously stated somewhere but I'm lazy and knew you guys were bound to know

{Cloudshift} is different from transforming (flipping) a flip-card. Cloudshift removes the card, then re-places it as a new object, so it comes in untapped on its day-side as if just cast.

However when a flip-card flips under normal circumstances, its still the same object in the same state of being, so it remains tapped or untapped as it was when before it flipped over. This is why {Civilized Scholar} specifies that he untaps before he turns into {Homicidal Brute}.
