Title: Guttersnipe, Flusterstorm, Shattering Spree
Post by: Falcon182 on December 14, 2012, 07:56:07 PM
Perhaps a dumb question:

If I have a  {Guttersnipe} in play and I use  {Flusterstorm} to counter a spell my opponent plays, it deals the 2 damage twice correct?
Similar question for  {Shattering Spree} if the replicate cost was paid.

Thanks!

Ah, bummer. For follow up with  {Flusterstorm}, if I were to counter my own spell and the counter resolves, would the countered spell count as "cast" for guttersnipe?

More on this.
'Casting' a spell puts it on the stack, whether it resolves or not is another matter.
