Title: Fecundity, Yavimaya Elder
Post by: Blaze2100 on December 14, 2012, 02:52:55 PM
I've got  {Fecundity} out. I sacrifice  {Yavimaya Elder} for his own ability to draw a card. It made no difference really to the game state which effects happened in which order, but my opponent said since all 3 triggers (draw a card from elder/search 2 lands from elder/draw from fecundity) were all mine I choose the order. I chose to draw two then search. Was this right?

Edit: whoops! Testset is correct. That little detail slipped my mind, and its kind of an important one to the answer! Good catch, Testset, +1!

I kinda thought of it the way both you guys said. I thought since I was using his ability it put his draw at the bottom of the stack, BUT then again part of the cost of the ability is sacrificing him.  But yes great point on searching before drawing to thin lands. THAT I didn't consider
