I like it when people hate me while I play. Plus this is something I plan on taking to an EDH tourney. So if I don't win at least I can piss people off. That's always fun. To many people take it to seriously. Well if you got any pointers; I'd like to hear them.

{paradox haze} + {slow motion} or anything with upkeep costs annoys the piss out of my friends.

another fun thing to do is use {spreading seas} effects. zur is amazing at grieving other ppl

{Web of Inertia} + {Rest in Peace}. No one is attacking you. Ever.
{Greater Auramancy} + {Copy Enchantment}. No one is messing with your nice things. Ever. This works because auras only target when they're casted, zur's tutor ability bypasses your own shroud.
{Curse of Exhaustion} + {Knowledge Pool}. Oh you're casting a spell? No you're not.

Personally I'd take Bruna out. How many auras do you want to not be attaching to zur? For 6 mana? You could have won by then, really. Yes it helps with graveyard, but only for auras.

Also, I have to say the most fun thing to fetch with an academy rector is {Eldrazi Conscription}...

You may want to think about adding  {Sovereigns of Lost Alara} and take out  {Sun Titan} I think it runs a lot better.

What {Sun Titan} does for me is bring the enchantments that make it into the GY back to play as well as most my creatures. That's why I went with {sun Titan} over {Sovereigns of Lost Alara}.

Zur is very much a hated commander because you can do so much with him with enchantments plus you constantly get to search you deck and shuffle giving you the advantage. But still my favorite commander.

I'd say he's about as hated as {Uril the Miststalker}. Versatile because of the enchantments, and innately hard to deal with and highly threatening. So, some people hate and others love them.

What makes {Uril, the Miststalker} so hated? It's just my buddy wants to do a naya build for EDH deck and I want to know which is best. If this guy is hated on he must be good.

A hexproof commander is very tough to deal with, and with {Flickerform} he becomes nearly unstoppable as long you leave mana open. Add the enchantment factor and Uril's ability to deal lethal commander damage very quickly... When it comes to Naya colors, Uril is the choice for raw power.

Really ... C'mon you need one card to change this from fun to just plain lockout ... {Back to Basics}.

Now change your mana pool to basics and you are set.
