Those awkward stares you get when you bring a three foot tall  {Battle of Wits} deck to Monday night vintge.

A deck of 52 playing cards is .7 inches tall. Using that as a base, a 3' stack of cards is approximately 2,500 cards.

So... One of 4 things is going on here.

1: you made a 2,500 card deck. Psychotherapy recommended.
2: with sleeves, cards are about twice as thick. You bought 1250 sleeves, and built a 1250 card deck. Psychotherapy recommended.
3: you sleeved your 250-card BoW deck with those huge hard-plastic sleeves made for shipping. Psychotherapy recommended.
4: You are violating the "do not lie" law of iMtG forums. Psychotherapy and disciplinary action recommended.

So which one is it? ;)

I have seen a vintage BOW deck in the hard plastic top loaders made sense to the player to keep all his money cards safe as possible vintage isn't cheap!

The last "top loaded" vintage deck I played against was approximately 6" tall. That was 60 cards I assume. 200 plus would be just under 2 feet.  Maybe he slightly exaggerating or the deck has slightly more cards in it? I concur with psychotherapy.

Don't you have to be able to shuffle your deck? How can you if it's in top loaders?

Pretty sure it's just some exaggeration, guys.

I play battle of wits in real life at FNM and the deck is almost exactly the size of the bottom half of a fat pack box standing on end.
