So far this deck drops my Sphinx and Rites in gy before turn 4, did more deck testing last night.
It was close to 9 out of 13 he was on the board, and once he hits the table you get cards you need, and just toss in more gy fuel. I've been working on it for about a month now and I feel the mana is the best it's ever been. Thanks for the feedback and it's a super fun deck to play.
I had it as an Esper for a while but wasn't as effective.
He's like a {jace, architect of thought} that's playable outside of control decks since hes a 5/6 flyer. Im surprised more people aren't using him.

My buddy said the same thing, after Gatecrash there will be and IQ here in Wichita again and I plan on running it there depending on how meta shift but this deck is like Radio Shack, you have questions it has answers lol
Hahah ill be honest. I thought it was complete garbage at first. But he definitely has his applications. Particularly in reanimators, I feel. Im glad i held onto the five i have.

90% of the time I use {Izzet Charm} for looting but other than that it has 11 counters mainboard, looks rough on paper but runs like a champ.
Im going to go back and forth behind the charm and {faithless looting} in mine. The charm would definitely be better as it has more options, but there's isnt a ton of {U} in the deck.

How does {Havengul Lich} play out? I don't own any but he looks fun to play with.
I think he's more of a SB. Use the first game to feel out the opponent's deck and see if they have anything worth stealing. Very rarely do I have the mana open to cast my own creatures from my graveyard.
Done some changes, gonna test out {Rakdos's Return} and {Cyclonic Rift} mainboard and changed some counters around.

Ya I ran this deck before Gatecrash and DGM. There are quite a few new cards I'd add now just haven't say down to put it together.
