{Fatal Mutation} +{Ravager of the Fells} (or any other transformed card)
Stops him transforming or kills him for doing it ... yes?
No.
DFCs don't turn face-up or face-down because they are always face up. Transforming is a separate action than morph, even though it feels similar.
Off the top of my head though, I'm not sure what happens to a field of werewolves when {Ixidron} comes to town. I'll have to look it up.

CR711.6 A double-faced permanent always has the status "face up" (see rule 110.6). Double-faced permanents can't be turned face down. If a spell or ability tries to turn a double-faced permanent face down, nothing happens.
So, toss {Ixidron} into your Counter-Mayors deck and turn all of your enemies' dudes into 2/2 chumps while yours shrug it off!
And then... {Whip Flare} ðŸ'

Or {Pyroclasm} or similar, yep. ðŸ"¥
But {Ixidron} will die, so need something like {Unsummon} : /
meh, let him die. You've still got the rest of your creatures and you've just cleared the rest of the board.
