What would u want for the island btw its not playable in anything but casual because the type is not still there.

No judge would deny u to play basic land alter card... Even with the card type not visible...
I play many lands like that and never had problem... Value the island for 6-8 $...

It is not painted.. Those are prints...;) the one who is making them is using print on some sort of foil and then cut the areas where is text and mana symbols on the original cards...
It is not neccessary to have whole text visible if the opponent is able to recognize the card and what the card is doing... The last word is always on judge... I have never had problems with any of alters that I play... But some judges could be more strict than ours...
