I did 30 hours this week building bikes at my second job. That paycheck is burning a hole in my pocket! Time to finish out my Golgari deck.

If you also play standard I would suggest start chasing playsets of inistrad block dual lands. They will be standard legal for at least another year (longer if they reprint) and you will always need dual lands.
Dual lands are possibly the best investment you can make to help your card pool, they aren't very exciting but something you will use whenever possible.

Also if you don't have already, I would invest in card sleeves. Check the forums for decent threads on what ones are good, but again, these are things you will always use.

Have fun! :)

Please don't disregard all of what I said because I dropped the 's' word.
It is true of any format, your mana base is possibly the most important part of your deck. I mentioned the inistrad block duals because of their availability and the fact they aren't too expensive. Also the are legal in ALL formats.

Haha indee you did.. Well i play casual atm so im kind of going with decks ive already built, which is why im asking for deck doctoring(so ican order one tomorrow thatll work) and so i can wreck my friends.. I may just add a few nice lands in case i get to competitive level though which id really like, but im lackig experience right now as my main issue... Good sugestion though lands used to be just that-lands. I quit magic for like 5 years and come back to find all this crazy ish everywhere, its so different im havig trouble adjusting

As I said, mana base. Those no land decks still use mana, they are just from different sources.
Mana sources are important, good luck playing without it.

You asked where to invest your money, dual lands that you can use in any decks with the same colors will be one of the best investments you can make.

If you have the money, shock lands are the ones you probably want to chase.

GET ALL THE SHOCK LANDS THEN GET ALL THE FETCH LANDS THEN GET ALL THE LAAANDS LANDS LANDS LANDS!!!!

Btw I am not joking shock lands are THE best thing to have playsets of in any format!!! Standard uses shocks. Modern uses shocks. Legacy uses shocks. Vintage uses shocks. Playsets of each is a good investment!
