Title: Golgari deck dump?
Post by: Birdbrain on November 29, 2012, 12:53:16 PM
My friend runs golgari. And he wants to know a way he can constantly dump his deck into his graveyard in the fastest amount of time. Any suggestions?

Give your opponent a playset of {Traumatize} before the game 

Dredge. Combine that with mill cards and use it on yourself.

Is there an infinite combo in golgari colors that can put cards in your graveyard and be stopped at will?

I'm running a golgari infect deck and I always just keep a  {Lotleth Troll} handy so I can just discard my scavengers at will

If youre willing to add blue then {havengul lich} + {civilized scholar} is infinite and controlled as long as you have enough creatures in the deck.

Dredge will do the trick. {life of the loam}, {Golgari grave troll} and such.

How is this infinite? I'm confused. Even if the card is a creature, you have to transform him before you can tap again.

Lich cant transform so he just untaps. Read the lich's full ability please.

That's true. Didn't think you were using the lich as the combo.  But what happens when you don't hit a creature. You are stuck. So it's not infinite.

No. You discard from your hand, so as long as you have some creatures in your hand you can pitch one of those each time you dont draw a creature. If you want to use this combo your deck would need to be mostly creatures and cards that thin your deck.

True true. It does seem to work pretty well. I might implement that in my grixis heartless summoning deck.

Hahaha please. I am the most anti standard person on the face of the earth. I believe in the "if I have the cards, I use them" way of playing. Lmao.

A classic is to run a {painter's servant} and a {grindstone},
or toss a {millstone} into a {Karn, silver golem}, {Thran dynamo}, {voltaic construct} combo.

I am definitely that as well, and with three plus 5k count boxes of cards ranging from beta through Shadowmoor, got plenty to play with, hard to keep track of though...

I have that too. I have an entire drawer in my dresser full of cards. All of which I do not use. Not to mention the 40+ decks I have and my whole collection of rares and mythics in a 2000 card container (full) and those are the rares and mythics I don't use. Lmao.

Do you have kamigawa block cards? I'm looking for those now. Dont have much to trade, though it sounds like you have all you need anyway

Once I can get my collection organized and entered into this ap, then it will be easier to determine what would be tradable and is needed

Same. I don't think I can catalog all my stuff unless I spent weeks doing it. I probably have 20,000+ cards.
